Wilted Broccoli Sprouts

Tender broccoli flavored sprouts wilted with garlic.

  • 1 quart broccoli sprouts (about 2-3 broccoli seeds, sprouted)
  • 1 tbsp lard
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt to taste

Preparation Instructions

  1. Heat lard in skillet or saute pan at medium-high heat.

  2. Add garlic and heat until barely browned, less than a minute.

  3. Immediately add sprouts to pan. Stir well for a few minutes or until sprouts are completely wilted. If you prefer more tender sprouts, add 1 tbsp water to pan and cook covered, stirring occasionally at low to medium heat until water evaporates.

  4. Add salt to taste.
